VMUG, Village Macintosh User Group, is located in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. VMUG was organized in 1991 for the purpose of furthering the knowledge and use of Macintosh computers and related software. Just as the Apple product line has expanded to include many different devices (iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV), our purpose has expanded to include learning how to use all of those devices effectively. Whether you live in the Village or are just visiting the area, we invite you to attend one of our meetings. Even if you do not yet own an Apple product, you might be interested in hearing why our members are devoted users of Apple products.
We meet on the third Tuesday of each month to share knowledge and build friendships. Meetings begin with a brief business segment, which is followed by the education portion of the meeting. This part varies, but often includes information and demonstrations on new products and software in addition to a fundamentals segment that addresses the core usage of Mac computers, iPhones, iPads, or other Apple products. Both basics and advanced tips are shared with our members.
This is followed by an open Q & A session which ranges from the most basic questions from new users to more technical questions from long time Mac users.
Meetings offer great opportunities to learn and share news and information about all things Apple. Friends and guests are always welcome.
